Another NFL Death Attributed to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy

Former U.S. pro football player Junior Seau, committed suicide in May of 2012.  Autopsy results released recently revealed that his brain showed signs of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, a form of brain injury that has come to be associated with football players and other professional athletes.  This is a topic I’ve written about several times, and this story just proves to illustrate how serious this issue is.  Here is an excellent article about Seau and what scientists discovered about his brain.
